Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of 14. She began training in kickboxing boxing wrestling and BJJ before making her first amateur appearance at 18 in WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and began a 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in each fight. Ladd returned to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen as she beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's records as a professional were damaged. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta 16 saw her go from Bantamweight to her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill took down McGill, and she managed to finish her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows as well as punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her off in the second round via TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the final match in the organization. The winner was Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina through her ground and pound tactics, resulting in an TKO 2nd round win. She continued her dominance and racked up an impressive victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger within the first minute and was awarded a prize for her performance during the evening. Her first major fight at The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and each fighter getting the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her win streak. in the 3rd round on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. Her loss was a unanimous one.
